Gang of teens pummel stranger, 50, in Brooklyn subway station attack

A gang of teens ambushed a 50-year-old straphanger at a Coney Island subway station, punching and kicking him in a random attack, police said Thursday.

The attackers, three boys and three girls, confronted the victim on the mezzanine level of the Stillwell Ave. station, the terminus for several subway lines, about 9:45 p.m. June 2, cops said.

They kicked and punched the man in the head and body before running off.

Medics took the victim to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn in serious but stable condition.
